With a beautiful surgical suite including patient monitoring equipment,
ventilators, and advanced surgical equipment, Dr. Rosenzweig can offer a
full spectrum of surgical repair and corrections for all manner of
veterinary problems.
| "Dr. Mitch" is TPLO certified allowing him to provide the newest modality of
surgical repair for cranial cruciate injuries in animals. He also has vast
experience with the older lateral suture technique allowing him to provide a
professional opinion and comparison of the different treatment options. He
has performed hundreds of orthopedic repairs ranging from simple pinning to
complex external and ring fixator corrections. Bone plating is the most
commonly utilized method of reducing fractures and provides excellent
strength of repair during healing and low aftercare requirements. Bone
plating is a procedure that is beyond the scope of many general
practitioners, and allows not only repair of broken bones, but correction of
hip dysplasia through the TPO surgery, if caught early enough in development
and angular limb deformities.
Beyond bone repair, "Dr. Mitch" also can perform arthroscopic evaluations of
joints and then repair lesions such as OCD in a number of ways, including
cartilage transplantations techniques utilized in human medicine.

Endoscopy allows foreign body removal from the stomach without incisions and
biopsies of esophagus, stomach, and/or colon for diagnosis of complicated GI
disease processes.

| Rhinoscopy allows evaluation, biopsy, and foreign body removals from the
nasal passages of animals with chronic discharges and Laproscopy allows
evaluation of internal organs through small keyhole incisions in the
abdominal wall (thorascopy can be performed in the chest) which reduces pain
and provides a source of information about internal disease processes as
well as allowing for biopsies and some actual corrections.
